We can supply the whole package for any Division 5 needs your project may have. This can include installation, field measuring, pipe handrailing, angle handrailing, raised platforms, grating, regular ladders, caged ladders, large ductworks, material chutes, heavy weldments, etc.
Our staff has a combined 60 years of experience estimating and managing structural steel projects while interfacing and cooperating with engineers, architects, owners, purchasing agents and general contractors. We use special state of the art project management and estimating software to help save our customers money and more importantly, time.
Clear fabrication details are prepared using state of the art Design and Detailing Software, with plans being fully modeled to ensure a complete understanding of the project. At Mazzella Welding we use the top detailing firms capable of interfacing with BIM, or Building Information Modeling, is the practice of building a computer-generated 3D model prior to actual construction. We also have the capabilities to draft and detail, in house, miscellaneous and small structural work using AutoCad software.
Our 15,000 square feet facility houses two 10 Ton overhead cranes, one Ficep single spindle with automatic tool changer capable of automatically drilling any size beam up to 60 feet long, one Ocean Clipper AngleMaster capable of automatic processing angles up to 6x6x5/8 of any length, one 90 Ton Piranha Ironworker capable of punching, coping, and shearing materials of thickness up to 1-1/4 inches, one Marvel automatic saw capable of cutting materials of up to 21 inch deep, eight Lincoln MIG welding machines.
If we cant load it inside, we can load it outside, as our 10 acre yard is serviced by a 15 Ton P&H crane and a 24 Ton Grove crane. We also have a 3 Ton forklift by way of a Michigan end-loader with custom made forks.
Utilizing all of the available resources at our disposal, we are capable of producing up to 100 Tons of fabricated structural steel product per week.
Mazzella Welding and Fabrication Inc. has a written and fully implemented Quality Management System that is independently audited by the American Institute of Steel construction. We have maintained our AISC certification since 2006. Quality and accuracy are built into every project.
Before shipping materials to our clients all pieces are inspected to ensure they are being delivered when we say they are being delivered. We have been delivering steel to our clients for 10+ years with less than 1% nonconformance of the gross product.
